Kimberly and Brad Moore couldn’t wait to start working on a wheelchair for their 7-month-old daughter Evelyn. They spent roughly $100 and followed a tutorial online.

Evelyn was four months old when she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma as a result of a spine tumor. As a result, she was left with paralysis below the arms, but she eventually went into remission.

The physicians advised Kimberly and Brad that Evelyn should not be fitted with a wheelchair until she is two years old. Evelyn’s parents were impatient, therefore their house had a speed bump.

Evelyn is unafraid in her wheelchair, according to her mother. The wheelchair is made from a cutting board, castor wheels, and a Bumbo chair. Evelyn immediately mastered its application after learning how to use it.

Evelyn was described as a joyful youngster by Bev Wilson, a pediatric oncologist. Evelyn is always on the go, greeting other kids and paying nurses a visit. She is similar to other children, yet she is faster.

Evelyn walks on a treadmill assisted by a harness a few times per week. She now has improved bladder control and a stronger immune system, and she is progressively gaining control of her lower body.

Brad and Kimberly worked hard to ensure Evelyn had a typical upbringing. Despite their numerous difficulties, Evelyn is content and improving on a daily basis.
